How is everyone doin eh?

Umn, so is there going to be a caravan to join up with again out of Denver?? I am making the 2323 mile(one way) trek to AMVIV again this year. And it would be great to drive it with some MINI's for at least a little bit.

I am registered and my hotel rooms are booked as well...
I am leaving on Wednesday the 25th. Planning to drive all the way in one day. Let's do the Caravan again.....
It was fun last year...

 

I was planning to leave Denver on the WED to be included in the CARAVAN if it happened.. But I will be leaving Canada on the 21st... make a few stops on the way.

 

on Saturday before AMVIV so I can have a little play time in the area ahead of the event.

Anyone is welcome. Likely to take some side roads in UTAH on the way down due to the magnificent scenery available.

Returning to Denver on Sunday as usual.

Glad to see the motoring spirit hasn't left you Xiek; I was rather afraid after the trip last year you'd be afraid of coming so far again. Kudos for you, friend!

Regrettably, Christine and I won't be making this trip; I'm unemployed since December and it just doesn't fit into our budget. I might be able to do a little driving with folks if I'm free, though how far is yet to be seen. I'll be following this thread and visit if I'm able.

 

As a gift for all you Colorado peoples, the Sunday run is the Valley Of Fire again, which gives you a good start on the trip home. See you all here in March.

Well, I can't speak for anyone here Xiek, but I think I'll be available for a bit of driving. I'm still not going to vegas, but that doesn't mean that I can't tag along for a little while. If you guys get it figured out I'll do my best to be there.

 

I hate to get antsy on this.. but I leave on my trip on Sat.. and will have limited access to Internet.. and would like to ensure I know where to meet people.

 

and frankly, I do not know all the folks listed there. So I cannot reach out too easily to see what the plans are.

I will check with Rick and see if we can make some contacts.

Sorry for not replying earlier. I just got back from CA last Sunday and sent my wheels to the shop to have them sand blasted and repainted. Don't know if they will be done by next Tuesday. I am not leaving till the new wheels are on the car. So I can't really promise something that I have no control with. But I will know for sure by this weekend. I will keep everyone updated.

What's the 5280 frs channel again? That way if we see anyone who doesn't post we can yell at them as we pass.

 

Glad to hear you're making the trip again. Are you and the Mrs bringing both cars, or is it a one car show again?

But the channel here is the usual 21/7 used nation wide. What time were you folks planning to roll through? I won't know if I'm free till probably Monday, but if I am, I'm totally down for a ride. Hope to see you all soon.

If I remember right, last year we met at 7AM and left at 7:30AM. Arrived at Palace Hotel around 7 PM Vegas time after several bathroom breaks and a lunch at a fast food chain.

But then since I am not sure if I will be leaving with everyone, I can't really suggest a time and not showing up.

I will keep everyone updated.

Not sure on the time but we want to be in Vegas before dinner Wednesday because we have some friends in Vegas making it. I imagine it will be early again though. It all depends on when we roll in to Golden and how much sleep we get 6:30 or 7 am would be ideal I'm thinking.
