FREE...
This Saturday and Sunday are free for entry into the Rocky Mountain National Park to recognize National Public Lands Day. With the Aspens changing and the Elk bugling, this is the perfect chance to go and not pay a thing. There is no official ride for this, but more of an FYI. RUDEBOX will probably be in the park on Saturday.

It's going to be crowded these next few weeks anyway...especially with the elk coming into town. Are you a season pass holder? Last time we went on the "free day", we didn't know and were surprised when they told us it was free. They also said they don't advertise it but some northern Colorado paper published it. Still, that's 20 bucks saved and a pretty drive. It's always a good time in RMNP...
Rudebox & CooperRs are meeing tomorrow (Saturday) morning 11am in Lyons at the intersection of US 36 and Hwy 66 for a ride thru Rocky Mountain Nat. Park. All interested WELCOME!!! The elk are bugling, the aspens are turning, the roads are twisty, and the park is FREE and BEAUTIFUL!!!

For those of you who could not make it to RMNP here are some pictures of aspen changes in the park. I don't have my MINI yet, but nevertheless it was a great day and lots of pictures.

Nice pictures. Rudebox and CooperRs met up and had a nice drive through the park and into Grand Lake.
Wouldn't you know it, the battery on my camera died!...after the battery charger reported it was fully charged!
