GBSHF Picnic and Ride 3:00 PM 9/28/08
A Couple of added notes
... Please bring a chair if you plan to sit.
... Please bring a batch or two of homemade cookies.
Also note
MINI5280 will not be providing any adult beverages, however should you bring your own, State law prohibits beverages with more than 3.2% alcohol in state parks.

I'll be there with my wife and daughter (and Welly, but he doesn't need to eat).
...and by the way, I paid for my MINI5280 Membership so I'm official!

Sorry, just got back from the SCR Open house.
So yeah, store bought BarBQ this weekend (and store bought watermelon).
Why is it that grilled tofu doesn't even sound good?
So Last chance - Sign up on the calendar so we can bring the right amount of food for y'all (that's Texican for "all you alls").

The chicken has "0 grams of trans fat per serving." And, "it's the taste you love." I hope that helps.
Additional Chatfield State Park info and map
Not all roads on Chatfield State Park (CSP) maps are publicly accessible and/or paved. You can not drive around the lake. Some roads are gated service roads. This Google map (click here) contains extra GBHSF info (click on the push pins and other icons):
Rick
- There are two entrances to CSP: Wadsworth Main Entrance (red push pin) 2nd light south of C-470 and the south entrance (yellow push pin) on Roxborough Road via Titan Pkwy (from Santa Fe/Hwy 85). Daily fee is $7 per car.
- Dogs are welcome! Keep them on a leash then take them to the CSP Off-Leash area (green push pin) where they can play in the river and romp around without the leash.
- The only way to reach the GBHSF Picnic (other than by parachute or helicopter) is from either entrance then the street along the left side of the lake to the left side of the dam, looking from the lake (see the red line on the map).
