Twitter?

Anyone on twitter? I decided to try it out because regular blogging is too time consuming for me for the most part.

If you're out there let me know. I'm Oniyuki on the site.

Hope everyone is enjoy MITM! Wish I could be there.

Cheers,
Kim

What's the point?

There is a point at which just posting "snippets" for posting sake takes time from what could actually be constructive. But I'm over 40 so I think I just don't get it.

8000+ messages on NAM, and you don't use Twitter.

That I did not expect.

You do make a good point, twitter has it's place, but OT on NAM and the other MINI boards works for a number of folks who do not want to have a dedicated blog.

Matt, 8K...

Just wanted to keep up with the friendly folks on NAM and MINI5280 while motoring.

Was going to Twitter that I saw a DS MCS while out and about at Southlands but had read the negative response and figured what's the point.

Just me being a techno-phile almost 40 year old

Hope everyone is having a great time at MITM!

Use Twitter, if that is your techno need. The more you can be a MINI Obsessive the better (IMO).

SMS text multiple people at the same time, great way to SMS via the web. One creates a Twitter ID. Then tells friends their Twitter ID. Friends then get Twitter IDs. Send one message to all your friends.

I use it mostly for family. If I'm meeting my wife, mom, sister, dad at a Rockies Game for example. I can send a meeting place and time all by sending one SMS message. Works great if I am running late for something that I am meeting mutiple people at.

Or I'm stopping at the hardware store..SMS meant for my wife..."what size towel rack?" My Mom pipes up and asks me to pick up her up some weed killer. It's very handy
