Hi fellow Coloradoans,

I'd like to introduce myself as I've been stalking this forum for at least a couple of weeks. I'm Kim in Aurora and just ordered my MCS yesterday. I spoke with Tyler Huckaby based on all the great comments here.

Sadly, my order won't even go into the system for another couple of weeks. I'm not sure how I will last ... I'd love to have my Mini before the snow flies so I can get a few good road trips.

Hi Kim !!! Tyler is who MrBean and I got our MINI's from. He's a super nice guy, isn't he? Give us the specs!!! What color did you order, options? I bet you're so excited!!!

 

Aside from a '57 T-bird the Mini has been my dream car so I went a little crazy when ordering it. My baby will be Lightning Blue with interior/exterior chrome line, premium, cold weather, and convenience package.

I'm planning on heading to MITM to visit with Aesthetic Creations about a custom stripe job I'm dreaming up. I'm sure there will be a bunch of aftermarket whiz-bangs in my future. My dad and brother are both serious gear-heads and this totally smacks of gift buying!

Congratulations & Welcome Kim!!! Please come to MINIs in the Mountains even though you won't have your MINI yet! It's alot of fun & if you want to go on rides or just hang out with all of us FUN people...... there is always someone who would be happy to take you in their car as a co-pilot (I'm the master at asking for favors)!!

haha, we are friendly...I was just giving Dylan a hard time....he is a good kid that owns a really rare MINI. Excited for him to come to town.

Welcome Kim, good you have your MINI all picked out. Are you expecting to have it by late September or early October?

Get involved with some of the fall MINI5280 events and some of the informal MINI lunch groups. Some are north, some are in the South of Denver.

Hi Kim. I'm Kim as well. I ordered my MCS on July 9 and was told it should arrive by Sep 1-9 (possibly sooner). I know the feeling...can't wait and 7 more weeks seems like a very long time! Congratz to you too!

Great color choice! The wait will seem like forever but it is well worth it when you get it. It will be here before you know it!!

Where are you on the wait list? When do you expect delivery? What did you get?

I haven't been told when my MCS will be going into production because Schomp's allotment slot is coming up in a week or so. That being said I just placed my first call with Tyler, my MA, to add LSD to my build. Anyone else use it here in Colorado?

As for the "gentle" haranguing and bantering ... nothing new to me. Grew up in a gearhead family so I expect nothing less. Like the old adage - "We only tease those we love".

Trying to satiate my desire to go driving by planning my first road trip in my MCS. Got names picked out (harder than naming my own son!). Trying desperately to decide on what kind of strips I want. I guess I'm hooked.
