Webb Motorsports

Hey guys! As many of you know, I have moved the shop, and my hours are now all over the map. To address this issue, I completely revamped the website, and the big addition is the calendar. The calendar has all of the available installation times listed, and it is as easy as posting to the thread to sign up.

Contrary to rumors started by our competition, we are certainly not closed for business!!!! If you take a look at our June calendar, which was the first month it was up and running, I was busy pretty much every day, hot rodding our beloved MINIs.

I really appreciate input to make the site and our business better, so feel free to post suggestions.

If there is anything in particular you would like to see from WMS, let me know. I am thinking about doing a driver school in Pueblo, or at minimum a track day. I am also thinking of doing another Tech Talk, for those of you who can stay awake through it! Topic is up for discussion.

To check out the calendar, as well as the new site format, just go to www.webbmotorsports.com and click around.

Thanks!
Randy

300 out of the R56 isn't quite doable yet. I am working on the intercooler, and with that, I should be around 250 with the current items. If you wait a bit, I belive I will have a solution that will include the turbo, downpipe, intercooler and an ECU flash that should get you close to your goal.

What I have been able to achieve so far is a healthy torque number that is much more flat than the stock number. We have 248 lb/ft at the wheels, and it is almost from the start of the run to redline! That is using a downpipe, catback, intake, and ECU tuning (which is the bulk of the change). I am still testing this combo, so you won't see it available on the site yet. I tend to do a lot of testing before offering our products.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Randy

I wouldn't mind having the intercooler installed, the nice guy, called Intercoolest, his car pops and is really nice under the bonet

Thanks - the Lotus is coming along. The builder log I have isn't quite current, but it is close. Here's a link to it: Lotus Seven Build

The intercooler I am working with is a dual core that I think will be the best on the market - it isn't quite ready just yet.

Sweet, I am gonna read through that later. I will just scan the images, load them to flickr and post them up in that thread for you or link you to full sized images so you can read them when you have time.

Can't wait to see that thing get finished.

Thank for your help last weekend. I have been thinking about a MINI clud DE at Pueblo as well. It would be fun. Lets talk about putting it together.

Cool! I really wanted to get into the 41's, but my old tires didn't let me. Thankfully, my 42.3 was enough to win.

I'll contact Pueblo and start another thread once I have the info.

Good to hear from you Randy! I think the 5280 club "newbies" would really enjoy hearing your tech talk sometime this summer. And it's a good review for the oldsters, as well. I'm sure we can work something out.

Cool - take a look at my calendar and let me know what works. I usually have it up the week before the previous month ends.

Randy, what would you charge for an oil change, brake line flush, and transmission fluid swap? I want to get that done before MITM, but don't want to deal with fluid disposal, etc.

Depends on what we use for fluids. Redline is what I like, but it is pricey. Shoot me an email and we can figure it out.

Thanks,
Randy
