Today the Chicago MINI Motoring Club went to the auto show. Of course, the first place we went (after the "exotic" cars okay?) was the MINI display to check out the Clubman. Imagine my surprise when I saw 2 MINI5280 members that we met at MITM right there at the MINI display. Who were they? Were they out of town this weekend? Look carefully at the "big board" for the answer.

That's me, camera hog #1 (purple haze). That photo was taken on the Albuquerque, NM to Amarillo, TX leg of the MINI Takes The States run (Aug. 2006). We were between Santa Fe & Las Vegas, NM. Notice Jim's (orange Cabrio) speedo photo. That was taken between Las Vegas, NM and Tucumcari, heading east toward Amarillo "the back way." Also on the trip was Andy A., Kendall/Diane and Jonathan. Another camera hog is Andy, who was on the COVER of MC2 later that year, at the start of the Albuq to Amarillo leg. Thanks for sharing the photos!
