West side breakfast
If anyone is interested in joining me. I'm planning on having breakfast at a friends Coffee House around 9:00 on Saturday, before heading out to Starbucks. It's called Angie's Place and it's located on W. 25th Ave 1/2 block West of Sheridan Blvd. In Edgewater. On the South side of the street.
Sat 2/16
I will be there early as I have service appt at 8. Do you need any asssitance w/ set up since I will already be there?
Also my sister will be visiting from OH, she has an 03 Mini, I keep pestering her to drive an 08 auto "S" so she will be there too. She is interested in test driving a Clubman too.
Let me know if you need any help.

Nice seeing everyone. Jim nice to see you again, really glad you made the drive.
Great little (large) gathering, some new folks and a lot of happy folks. Schomp really put out a nice spread for all of us.
I will test drive the Clubman when I take scooter in for a little service in early March.
Who won the MINI5280 raffle item?

Clubman rollout at Ralph Schomp's
It was really great to see everyone at Ralph Schomp's today. The new Clubman is kinda cool in a MINI way. The ride afterwords was fun. It was my first real run with the club since getting my new MCS. It was nice to be able to keep up without having to be in the higher RPMs
. I know I'm going to be in trouble when the snow stops and the gravel is all gone from the roads.
I had a ball...see: http://www.5280driver.com/2008/02/16/ralph-schomp-2008-clubman-event/

It was a really good time. I put an album up here.
Really enjoyed the cake too. Made an appointment for my first oil change on my dime and a little wind whistle issue for early March.
Teaser picture.

Nice sets of pictures, Vicki and JohnJohn very nice. I did not get pictures of the demo ride MINIs.
In fact I don't think I got out to that side at all.
Must have stayed near the food.

Thought I would let all of you Colorado folks know that I made it home. Thanks to Rick and Wendy for the place to stay for the night. It was great to see everyone again. Looking forward to the MotD / MINIUSA events / MitM hope to see all of you again then if not before.
Shelly thanks for the surprise in the car. I did not find it till this morning when I left Rick's place.
Thanks to the Schomp staff for a great event.

Next Trip:
The Dragon.
This year, I am planning some excursions here-to-fore untaken from Fontana. Each one ends at a, you guessed it - eatery. In NC, that likely means we are going to eat BBQ a few days straight.
There is one place in TN not far from Knoxville...at a country inn. The food is reasonable but the Inn prices - are you sitting down - approach $1,000 per night. You read it right. Guess they can afford to serve good food.
Fast up. You will thank me later.

Great photos everyone. Sure wish I could have attended. Our drive to Flagstaff was enjoyable though long (1500 miles) and somewhat snowy/rainy.
A big club thanks to Ralph Schomp for inviting us to participate at this roll-out event.
I'll post the next club meeting info soon. Thanks for participating and thanks for the photos.
Who did win the door prizes BTW?
