Got mine today too, but now I'm not sure I'll be able to take the Flag to Albuquerque leg like I planned... just taking the time off work to p/u my new MINI is going to put me far enough behind! At least I'll have my first 'momentos'

I got mine yesterday and I am in Va. Wanted to do St. Louis to the end but looks like we are doing the C-ville-DC, DC-NJ and possibly NJ-Lakeville. Can't wait to see everyone's MINI's and meet lots of folks along the way.

 

Just got home, checked the mailbox and YES! The package arrived.

Every states' trooper or highway patrol is chomping at the bit! They've ordered extra stationery (i.e. traffic citations) just for the occasion. Requests for overtime have quadrupled. Duracell has reported a spike in sales of radar gun batteries.

Yes, we are and I just got my MTTS kit today!!!! I haven't looked at the website in awhile is there a specific link up point in Jersey City yet?? We made reservations in Lakeville awhile ago but I wasn't sure where to stay on Sunday night.

 

I got mine yesterday!! I will be doing Charlottesville to DC to Jersey City! An ad in Rollingstone for MTTS was actually a major factor in my taking a second look at buying a MC! MTTS saved me from buying a car that would have given me years of joyless driving. Instead, I get years of happy motoring!

 

Do our wristbands get us in to the Rolex Festival thing at Lime Rock or do we need to pay separate admission for that??? It says there will be 880 MINI's rolling into the Midway at the same time. Woohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

From information I saw on the MTTS website I think you have to pay separately. They have a link to where you need to go to buy tickets.

 

We got our MTTS stuff today. The window cling can only go on 1 place for us, the windshield We have DARK tinted windows and you won't be able to see it anywhere else.

 

I'm right there with you. I figure I'm going to put it on the lower right side of the front windshield.

Is the sticker a window cling or is it a permanent sticker?

Got mine yesterday! WOO HOO! So excited, I am even wearing my band at work tonight (forgot to take it off!!) But I am keeping it on now so I don't lose it!
We put our cling in the passenger side front windshield. That is where all our clings are, since we have 5% tint, you can't see them anywhere else! It looks great!

 

got my stuff too. it's safely in the envelope which it came in. since I'm leaving next week for the beach for 2 weeks and not taking the MINI,I won't put the cling on til I leave for Charleston.

 

I've looked at the MTTS website and I can't figure out where the starting point is in Jersey City... JC is a pretty big town and not all of it is so nice. I don't want to do much wandering! Any idea how to find the starting points!
