Does your coolant tank leak during oil changes? Replacement O-ring FS

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $9
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R55, R56, R57, R58, R59
Location (Region): SoCal
Item Condition: Brand New

FS: 2 O-rings
1) for the coolant recovery tank
2) for the valve cover vent breather on n18 engines. I'm not familiar with the n14; I don't know if there's a comparable piece on it.

$9 shipped first class to continental USA for both pieces. $7 shipped for just one piece (specify which). ~10-14 days shipping time.
PM me your paypal & I'll send you an invoice.

I have an n18 R55 Clubman S & that's what I used to measure for the replacement parts. Please verify you have compatible equipment, the parts are pictured here, no returns.

Details:
While I was changing my oil, I noticed my coolant recovery tank was leaking. The engine was warm, the tank was pressurized, I lost a few tbsp of coolant. It leaks out of the bottom of the reservoir (where the hose connects). I also noticed the valve cover breather pipe looked to be leaking/weaping a bit of oil.

So I bought these viton replacements. They're supposed to be a higher quality than the OEM & either the best, or about the best material you can get for O-rings. I've been using them for ~2 weeks, and no issues. I mimicked pulling the coolant recovery tank for an oil change & it stayed sealed (no leaks, while pressurized).

They're slightly oversized
Stock vs new coolant recovery tank:
21.20mm OD New: 20.93mm
15.81mm ID New: 13.87mm
3.22mm thickness New: 3.53mm

Stock vs new valve cover breather:
23.04mm OD New: 23.95mm
18.57mm ID New: 18.72mm
2.56mm thickness New: 2.62mm

Bear in mind that the stock measurements are from used, worn, o-rings. The valve cover breather slid on very smoothly. The coolant recovery tank required some force (maybe 30lbs or so, a firm squeeze with both hands), you can see in the picture it is a bit thicker/smaller ID. It's also a good time to check if your coolant T-fitting is also leaking (coolant crossover pipe, whatever you'd like to call it) located above your oil filter housing. While changing the O-ring I lost maybe 1/2 cup of coolant & replaced it with distilled water. It's a good time to do a fluid service if that's due. No warranty, no guarantee, not responsible for any failures or associated failures, buyer assumes all risk.
