Swift or TSW springs

Category: Suspension
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53
Location (Region): NorCal
Item Condition: Used

Probably a long shot, but I'm about to do some suspension work and narrowed down my choice of springs to Swift or TSW. Going to be doing some track days (just DE, not racing), so slight preference for the Swift but I think either could work.

Also looking for shocks & struts, but it would have to be a pretty sweet deal or a full dampers & springs setup. I don't mind buying these new, especially with the Koni sale going on right now.

If you happen to be looking to get rid of a set, hit me up!

I found Swifts paired with OE Bilsteins, Fatcat bumstops, and IE fixed camber plates to be a great and cheap autocross setup. I feel it would be also good for some track days. I found a set of swifts on FB.

It's like you read my mind and/or my browsing history

That does seem to be a great setup, based on the reviews around the forums. I'm pretty set on IE fixed plates and swift springs, on the fence between Bilstein or Koni but I don't think you can really go wrong with either.

Just a quick bump before I haul off and buy stuff. If anyone is looking to sell some R53 springs or a suspension setup, let me know by the weekend.

@67morris which FatCat bumpstops did you go with? I found some of Shaikh's articles and videos about stock setup Minis, but with stiffer and slightly lower swift springs i was thinking 36 front and 58 white rear, and either trimming the rear or adding front packers if needed.

Here is what I got - Item: 5X Racing Mini Cooper Bump Stop Kit, OEM or Koni Sport Kit (FCMMINI-47mm/58mm white) Configure Kit: OEM or Koni Sport Kit ($40.00)

I didn't trim them at all. They have been working great as is.

I got my OE Bilsteins from Rockauto.
