If you would've been searching Ebay instead of asking for one here, you would have one by now. Just won an auction earlier this week and now on its way to me. Notice how many bidders - you are not alone. Don't hesitate, be vigilant and you will find one.

Very true! There seems to be many who are not happy with the ball type gear ***** - especially lifelong owners. While doing a part search, recently met a guy in UK who had 4 brand new as spares for his 2 GPs and 1 JCW R50. MINI even has the JCW carbon ***** classified as a "high quality gear shift ****". I find it interesting that the JCW carbon trim spans all 3 generations now. As more time passes and these wear out, bet you'll see a lot more 3rd gen carbon shifters in gen1 & 2. I think they are better looking.
