Mounts to the upper rear tube and then to the intake throttle body

This tube contains a top curved section and lower curve section, used as an upgrade on MINI with sound generators as a delete.

This takes the former place of the upper and lower half into the throttle body.

 

 

MINI factory replacement Intake Charge Pipe that eliminates the 'Noise Generator' for better performance.

On the earlier Gen 2 Cooper S models, the factory added a 'Noise Generator' along the intake piping to manipulate the intake sounds from the engine. Although this may seem innocuous, it adds volume to the intake piping which means more air to compress for boost.

By eliminating this Noise Generator and associated piping, you reduce the intake volume and improve the flow.
