I thought about getting those but I didn't want to have to worry about punching out the studs on my strut mounts. Those are the best priced ones I have found that are new though.

 

Understood. I was already replacing my suspension, so this was easy to do while out of the car.

I would take a look at your current strut tower nuts, and visualize what losing 3.5mm (plate thickness) of thread engagement will look like with stock strut mounts & studs. It should be OK.

The ones listed above are 4.5mm thick, so it pushes the envelope another 1mm, which is why studs are swapped for bolts.
