Exclamation emergency used passenger side tie rod end

Category: Suspension
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R53
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Used

I'm wrapping up a suspension overhaul for my '03 MCS, but I made a catastrophic error removing the tie rod end. This is the first car I've done anything serious on, and the DIY's and Stock Problems forums have been super helpful...but even you guys couldn't save me from my own stupidity. I know I messed up, please don't rub it in! I can't afford to take it to a shop, so I have to learn how to do everything myself. Mechanically inclined NAM members, get ready to laugh at my idiocy.

So on Sunday, even though I had a seperator handy, I hit the tie rod with a hammer once without thinking to seperate it out of frustration at another issue I'm having (see my thread about CV boot madness) after backing the nut off (because I was planning on using a seperator...doy) and the nut skipped a thread when I hit it...and I didn't realize this until I stripped the hex hole frantically trying to get it off. Now, my poor car has a stripped hex hole and a stuck, mangled, nut on the passenger side tie rod end, and it's all my fault. A friend is coming over with a Sawzall to cut the nut off, but the hex hole is destroyed.

My parents get home next Wednesday, and I have to have the car at least off of jack stands and rolling by then, oh, and I don't have enough for 2 new tie rod assemblies (tie rods are really worn).

I'll buy your crappy old tie rod end. Name your price, paypal F&F. Help PLS

You can get a new tie rod end on rockauto for $11. They have many other tie rods to choose from if you can afford to spend a little more.

There also is a 5% off discount code. Just google rockauto discount code
