Was it hard to wire up? I'm interested in adding this to my garmin. I checked and it should work according to the link you provided

 

Through the tailgate wire loom rubber boot. Leave transposer above headliner.
Run power cable down drivers side c-pillar to the power port in the boot.
Tap the power port.
That way its available on demand at all times.
