Yes it is the 8.7% reduction.
It is 8.7% reduction so it's an under drive. It is a pound lighter than stock but a fluid sfi damper. With this reduction you need to match the correct SC pulley to get the numbers you want.
If you go over sized you will spin everything to fast and burn up your altenator.

Reduction was for the Justa-Cooper (non-S). Less rotating mass, under-drive the alternator and waterpump to free up some hp. Reported to work very well. Friend of mine has the standard one for his "S" and likes it a lot, and he's really picky. I've got a standard on order for my "S".
I suppose if you do the math you can use a reduction pulley (15-19%) and recoup some boost from the s/c, but you'd be on your own to size the belt. With a stock s/c pulley you'd be running lower boost. I think the math would be straightforward, -8.7% and run a 19% s/c pulley = the same a running a +10% pulley (if one were available) on a regular crank pulley, but I may be mistaken there...
