Hi everyone,

I'm new to the community, coming over from old Audis. I have an '02 Cooper S, but unfortunately the two rear mufflers have quite a bit of rust. Hoping someone in the Northeast has a set of used factory replacements for sale.

If you do, I'd appreciate a PM. I'm located in CT and would be willing to travel a bit to pick them up, if they're the right units.

I have my original cat back from my 05 ill pm you my number, I'm in the north east Bronx about 20 min from the CT/NY border you are welcome to pick them up

 

I beleive I can help you....just purchased a Milltek header and exhaust system to replace the OEM exhaust in my '04 Mini....I live in North Carolina and my car has always been in the South since new...no rust on the exhaust system so perhaps exactly what you are looking for. I'll be doing the swap out during the coming weeks, if you'd like some portion of the exhaust get in touch and we'll work out an agreeable arrangement, the OEM system will be surplus to my needs and while I can scrap out the Cat at the local salvage yard, I'll have little need for the muffler portion of the exhaust...

Along the same lines, in case this fellow does not want my OEM exhaust, if anybody else on here is interested, get in touch and we'll talk...

Hi, welcome to NAM as I said before I took off my original exhaust and replaced it with an aftermarket one, a few things, about a year ago I converted the exhaust to a one ball mod, if you are new to MINis this term may be unfamiliar to you :-) this is a popular mod where you have a shop take off the right muffler off the car leaving just one of the muffler intact, this gives you a bit more sound but nothing too loud or boy racer kind of thing, anyways the exhaust is in 3 pieces 2 mufflers and 1 pipe, I also installed a pair of original MINi but optional Tips, I still have the beer can looking ones too, I DO NOT have the hanger rings but you can reuse yours if they are in good shape and you need the rings from your car anyways since the hangers for 02-04 are different to the 05-06 ones but the mufflers are the same
