I’m selling a Homelink rear view mirror with auto dim feature. It was pulled from a salvage 2006 R53. I successfully installed it on my ’05 R53 within 5 min. The homelink garage feature works perfect with no flaws, however I could not get the remote sensor to work. (locking/unlocking doors with keyfob) I dont know if I'm doing anything wrong or if there is something wrong with the remote sensor but I dont have time to fool around with it. Thats why I'm selling it as-is. Also there is a milky haze portion of the glass in the mirror that can not be polished out by hand from the front. I am not sure if the glass can be replaced, or polished once removed from the holder. It does not really effect what you see. See the last pic for details.

I was wondering, what does this mirror have to do with the function of the door locks? I don't get the connection?

 

Our rearview mirrors have lock/unlock mechanism inside. It is what allows you to lock your car via the keyfob.
