Is this fully functional and complete, mainly concerned with the 315mhz receiver for keyless entry that is part of the package when the mirror is purchased new.

This mirror does not have the homelink feature.
It is just the plain auto dim mirror with no other features.

Your own transmitter can be used in the mirror.
I split apart a mirror from 05 and one from 08.
Basically combined a compass/glass and my transmitter into one (mirror) frame.
