The M7 Air Plate Diverter (APD) is another standout piece for the MINI owner looking to fill voids in the form and function categories of their vehicle build-up. The APD is designed for the best fit over the bumper to increase efficiency of stock parts without modification. The fiberglass APD is identical in fit and function to the carbon fiber APD but made for those on a budget. When finish painted it will add that special finidhing touch for your under hood show-off.
Installation of the APD is extremely simple, needing only to attach to two existing bolt locations directly above the front bumper line. 10 minute and its on! Installation will result in better airflow through the radiator, AC heat exchanger, and engine bay (this includes the heat-producing monster we know as the supercharger). Ultimately, the MINI owner will experience better response from the air conditioner, less heat soak in the engine bay, and even a cleaner engine bay because of the redirected air.
