Up for sale is a D1 Spec throttle controller that I installed in my 05 MCSa in Dec 2012 and just removed last week.

It is in perfect working condition, and I was very pleased with the results. By setting it at about Sport 3 or 4 would give you full boost almost instantly with a press of the throttle. And, on the automatic MCS it will kick the trans down a gear almost instantly as well.

Very easy install, took about 1/2 hour total. You plug one end into the OBD-II port, and the other inline between the throttle pedal and the throttle pedal harness. I have already zip-tied the different parts of the harness for a very clean install under the dash.

This will fit the First Generation MCS cars. It should fit the regular Coopers as well. I also think that it fits the second gen cars as well, but I can not confirm that.

Includes all original packaging and instructions (which I believe are in Japanese...).

Reason for sale is that I am selling off some of my 'extra toys' in order to purchase a 'big extra toy', a motorcycle.

Most of the late model cars have “Drive-By-Wire” system so the amount of throttle is modulated based on the voltage. With this throttle controller, now you can control the pedal to throttle to improve the throttle response at a ideal position. The D1 Spec throttle controller features 3 modes (12 settings) :
