Looking for a set of track wheels for 06 Mini Cooper S with JCW suspension.
Want 8" wide (I already have 7s). R17 preferred. Not interested in fancy super expensive wheels. Something functional, lighter weight and prefer something in northeast to michigan area for pickup.

Pm with pictures or link...

949 UL. +36 offset. Will probably clear without a spacer.

You MIGHT find someone to sell 8 wides to you here, but it's a shot in the dark--there aren't that many MINIs with them (I'm about to run 9 inches on the front, 8 on the rear at the track).

Other option is to check the Miata boards--the 949's are hugely popular there, both the 9's and 8's--the 9's are becoming more popular, so it's not as hard there to find 8 inch wide 949's as people sell them to move to 9's. I'll bet you'll have more success finding them from a Miata owner, especially if you want to find them near you.

**Edit--I was thinking 15 inch radius, that's what I run, 17's will be easier to find something.

I have 12.1's too, Brakeman, and the 15 inch 949's clear. Not sure if the Wilwoods would, as the Brakeman is a really low profile caliper.
