This amplifier is the Premium 10-Speaker HiFi Amp made to fit in any 2007-2013 Mini Cooper with Premium Sound options. The included bracket will only fit the Mini Cooper or the Mini Cooper S, but you may can buy a bracket for other models, or retrofit it in.


Amp was taken from my 2009 Mini Cooper S with 10-Speaker Premium Sound.

 

wasnt the premium system redesigned in 2010? im not sure if it is compatible all model years.

Maybe this weekend. I've been wanting something and this would be perfect. I have the 10 speaker set up but didn't comes with amp, at least when I bought the car used. Has a lot to be desired currently. I've heard the Harmon stereo in a couple minis and sounded decent at least.is there a difference between the Hi-fi and the Harmon besides the amp or is that even different? I would still need to upgrade speaker or not?

 

They are very similar. Both the Hifi and the H/K are made by Harman, just this one has a lower wattage. The speakers in the H/K model are made of better materials and should distort less. The H/K speakers are compatible with this amp.
