what product do you recommend to clean the valves with?

 

No product will clean the valves on a direct injection motor. Walnut blasting or going into the head and scraping and scrubbing the build up off are the only ways to get rid of it and the caps help prevent it after they are cleaned.

Sets are still available I am not sure what MINI charges for them I just did a bulk order from Peugeot.

 

MINI does not offer these. I spent 30 minutes this morning searching on realoem.

I did see the mini part number here once. I'll see if I can find it again. I think they called it 0cap or noplug or something allong those lines.

I am no longer selling them but if you search the part number for the blind bug someone posted earlier you can order them. It doesn't harm the motor.
