Did you ever got a response to your WTB?

I'm asking because I have been looking for one myself.

Not yet. But I am designing and building a prototype that should look and work about the same way. I bought a used console to do the modeling. I want to see if it can be built with just one outboard cup also. I am also looking at design options that do and do not require the removal of the console to install. ( not removing the console will make the 2 center cups smaller). I plan to use aluminum for the top plate and cups.

Thoughts?

If it seems successful, I will ping you.

Are you saying that this cup holder required you to remove the console and attach it that way? Or was this just a slip-in?

I have played around with the PVC Cup Holder that Yo'sDad designed:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...0&ppuser=20272
and it works but I'm fine tuning my build a little.

As for the aluminum cup holder I am trying to source some scrap aluminum pipe for the cups, the top and bottom plates are not an issue. This is a much cleaner design and if I can locate the pipe, not that easy in the DC area... I wish I was still in the NYC area (much easier to get scrap materials), I could build something. I have the machinery to get the parts machined.

I wish that CravenSpeed or MiniMania or someone else would pick this up. I know that it was not an inexpensive item but just in the groups that I am involved with DCMM and C3M there are a number of people that have expressed interest in purchasing them.

This is a good idea. I may be able to help with this (aluminum and fabrication)
