Princeton MINI
Haven't had trouble with the service department yet except for getting something other than a Mini for a loaner. =)
What issues have you had with their dept minisoulsys? And where are you in NJ?

it was nothing huge. I called on a sat and was told the service guy was busy and would give a call back. Never heard back. Repeat again on monday. Never heard back. Left a request on their website and same result. So I can't say I really had any service done yet.
Do not ask to speak with Isaac, ask for Jimmy. I've not had a good experience with Isaac.
Unfortunately there are days where Jimmy is not in. =) Like today. I finally got through, but had to call almost 10 times to find out they could not take me today to fix my runflat. And the garages around me don't have them in stock.
shokk, pm me...was in a similar situation and went to a local place and they were able to fix the flat. Also morristown mini typtically stocks our tires...I believe they are $140 each if you have the all season run flats.
Ugh I saw this thread and had to comment. I bought my 02 MCS late last year and while the sale went fine I had some concerns about the car that other people recommended me going in for. They gave me a loaner X3 which was decent but only because I had to go to MD that weekend. After a few days of me calling and leaving messages(4) and not getting a response I finally got a call as I was actually in MD.
Isaac basically threatened me in order to get the X3 back and they refused to do any work on the car. My MCS was out of the factory warranty but I had the 90day they are required to give. He responded to that by telling me I had no warranty.
I will never go back to them, I will never talk anything but badly to and about them because they disgust me.

I really don't want to trek to Morristown for this since I was already driving around for a week without knowing there was a nail in there. I was just filling it up with air to keep it going without thinking there might be tire damage. Princeton Mini has it in stock, but can't take me today. I was really hoping that the STS across the street had it and I could just pay something like $140 for the Conti all season run flats and then get reimbursed under the Millenium tire program.

I would go to Morristown Mini in a heartbeat, but I didn't buy my car there and they only give loaners if your car is not driveable. If you take your car in for a rattle or something, they won't give you a loaner.
I have the same experience as yours. I requested service through their website the other weekened, no response. I called last Friday and was told the service advisors are busy talking to some and one of them will call me back; I waited but did not get a phone call. I called again this morning and was promised somebody will call. I just called again a few minutes ago and still waiting....This is frustrating.

Good times...
I have been wanting to get myself into a Mini for 5 years now. I've driven Jeep Wranglers and Acuras my entire life. Well, here it comes, the day to buy my first new car. My father owns a car dealership, but I was doing this myself. So, what happens of course? I get the wrong car. It was boring and plain. Yeah, I know the Mini itself is awesome, but it needs to be awesome. So, after a week, I called and talked to Danny and Richie and asked, "What can I do?" Without hesitation, they brought me back in and planned out my "perfect" car. Luckily, there was somebody else that wanted the first car, or else this would've never happened. So, in a little over a month, my car new arrived. That's just awesome.
Somebody did finally call me back and I am scheduled for next week. The gentleman was very pleasant. I just wish that they would call back promptly. I used to drive a Chrysler, and each time I called for my regular service or any other service, someone always answered the phone and was able to get a schedule on the first call. I don't understand why MINI/BMW can't do this. We'll see what happens when I need service again. This will be my first time - I got my car less than a month ago and need something checked out. I hope the actual service is good.

I would definitely say the planning and sale of my mini was fine but the service dept has been a different experience.By the last couple of post's I'm not alone on this. The car is amazing to drivE!!!!!!!!!
Agree...
My wife and I got the cold shoulder from the whole MINI place. Not even a "HI!"
When I go to Morristown or Prestige, everybody takes time out to say "HI" to my wife and myself including the Managers.

I think it was also the fact that Morristown was trying to screw me on my trade in, that made all the MS there come off completely fake to me. Princeton's real problem is that they are a bit understaffed.
