Princeton MINI
I too had Princeton for my Mini sale. Same here with the accessory installs and they even gave me a few small accessories for free. I had Dan Pizzi as my SA. There was never any pressure on the sale. I came in with what I wanted and he cheerfully entered my order. They even gave me lessons on a few Saturdays to help me learn to drive stick before the car arrived.
The repair work is fine, but the scheduling service is not.
I bought the car there in 2002, and Not yet have I got a return call from Princeton's service dept.... even after warrenty was out and I was a paying customer. Never once did i give them a hard time about any thing they did either. Every time I wait 48 hours or longer before I try again, and I then call until I eventually get through, but leave a message every time. We used to get good service when Debbie was still there because she would walk in to service and make things happen. Once she retired I realized how it really was. After 7 more attempts I eventually gave up and go to morristown now... I didn't want to, but I need the car serviced. If you live close enough to just pop in and schedule, then service should be great since we never had a problem with the actual work or time frames once they had the car.
Issac is a nice guy in person, but I just can't stand it when people never try to return a call.

Issac is not the right person to call to schedule an appointment. I didn't write down the name but you should call either extension 155 or 157 for appointments. I do agree that scheduling is not as smooth as it should be. When I call to schedule an appointment, I expect to talk to a person not get their answering machine. That said, whenever I have called either of the two extensions above, I have received a call back.
I had the same experience. left a message and used their website to schedule a service. I waited 3 days and nobody returned my call. So I emailed the Sales Manager, Service Manager and my MA and demanded a call back. That was the only time I was able to speak with the service dept. I guess they felt that I documented my complaint and it was easy for me to escalate the issue to MINIUSA.
But I would agree that Isaac and Jeremy are nice guys.

Just took delivery of my CPO 05 Mini there. Funny, Dan Pizzi is also the sale person. Nice guy over all. However, my impression wasn that he wasn't as knowledgeable in terms of car technologies as I would expected a savvy BMW/MINI sale person would be. Won't hold that against him tho.
Already found some minor broken parts on the car that will need fixing. This will give me a chance to eval their service dept.

We bought both MINIs there and I always get a loaner. When you schedule your service appointment just be sure to mention that you need a loaner. I think as long as the MINI was purchased there that you can get a loaner.
If you want more freebies than you've gotten, I suggest you call and speak with the sales manager Jeremy Golis. He's a very nice guy...just be honest about how you feel.
Had my first service experience w/ Princeton MINI last Friday and today. I'm quite happy with the level of service they provided.
On Friday afternoon, going out to lunch, everything electrical shuts off when I tried to start the car and nothing worked afterward. I can't even get the booth open. Called the Roadside Assistance and of course, the car started right up when the towing company was there. I ask for the car to be towed to the dealer anyway. I then called up Princeton MINI service and describe the problem and also ask them to take care of the loose sound in the driver door and also broken lighter socket. The service person mentioned they will be able to work on the car on Monday.
Just got a call today, as promised, the car has been serviced. The battery was replaced (not sure if this was necessary, but I get a brand new battery, not going to complain). The lighter socket was replaced. They took apart the driverside door and re-tighten everything to make sure nothing is loose and would cause some noise which I mentioned to them earlier. During the service they found one of the right motor mount was leaking so they went ahead and replaced that. They also received my plates from DMV and so went ahead and installed those for me. Oh, and they also washing the car for me, too.
All service covered underwarranty, so zero charge for me. Woohoo.
I think the only thing that would have been better is if they can take a look at it on Sat. But I won't hold that against them as this is unscheduled and I belive they reserve Sat for quick walk-in services like oil changes. Overall, I do have a great first impression of the service department from Princeton MINI now. I won't hesitate to buy another car from them again.

I get that question a lot. LOL. He's actually a Pomeranian with summer hair cut. But he's quite big for a Pom.
Well my first experince so far has not been that great. Picked car up last Sat, explained that I'm in the Military and will get home state plates. Explain its been done before and all the paperwork needed. Attempted to get plates today, no title, no plates. Ohio DMV called at 1100, we'll take care of it.
Call receptionist at 4:25, tells me Joe is with a customer, leave him a message, call me right back. I call back at 7:30 (no callback from Joe), can I speak with Joe, he's gone for the day, and off on Friday. I ask for Jeremy, gone, also off on Friday.
Two more people answer the phone, put me on hold, connect me with Alan.
Tells me will Fed Ex title out tomorrow, so we shall see. I was hoping MINI dealership would be better than this, guess time will tell. Waiting on MINI to call on my sales experience.
