Mini Of Monmouth Meet
Did it the other night on MA under the DRIVE-N-Eat Forum. And don't forget your bowling shirt!!
i should be able to make it. i will also hopefully be making the shirts for the event. fred has been in contact with me about this, so we are just waiting for the idea and the rest of the details(how many/how much etc etc). had a great time last meet and look forward to this one!
I know YOU posted there, just trying to get some more Jersey people over there too.

And yes we need more Jersey peps over there anyway.
Are the younger drivers welcome to come as well? I am 90% sure I can participate.
I want to get another event started in May that is in Central Jersey. Being in Flemington, most of the events are an hour+ drive for me to just get to the beginning
. Lots of good areas to drive in.

We'll have to start recruiting then.
I've got a run put together that I think everyone will enjoy!!!
Bring your radios and cameras.
... and if anyone else wants as big of a dork as I am, I put this in the MINI-link for your smart phone.

Hey guys, take a look at this 2 mile bit of road. a small elevation change, and the best 6 curves in a row in the area.
headed east/north, you drop into the series with left the smooth right then left. then still dropping elevation, a nice right sweeper. in to a bit of a straight. then a very sharp left, the just as sharp right (a bit of a bump on to bridge to mess with your weight and traction transitions) then a fast left and right. the slow down for straight into res and school area.
going back the other way, the left as you come off bridge is wonderful- throttle steer to keep traction as you come out. then the left right left up the hill can be quite quick with plenty of traction.

Anyone have a good suggestion for the radio? I have an old one that needs updating.
Edit: Scratch that...I spent the last hour or so reading up on ones, I think I found a decent one.

I'm sure some of us have an extra one or you can pick up a decent pair of Motorolla on Amazon for like $30
Ordered one last night, got to come prepared!
Everything is set. Mike, the parts manager is excited... he's going to come in with his son on his day off just to hang out with us. The past 2 weeks went quick lets hope the next 2 go just as fast!
Cool John, we're always looking for new people. Hope you have a good time.
They opened the beginning of this year. If your interested in a job, Joe would be guy to talk to on Saturday.
