And in case you are unaware, Scrubby will be home over the Christmas Holidays.

 

I think that Scrubby is just slightly before my getting involved in the local Mini meets. Isn't he now located down in Florida? The reason I ask is that my wife and I are leaving for Florida in a couple of weeks and it would be nice to have a Florida "Mini" contact while we were down there. If he is the person that I mentioned, do you know what part of Florida he's in?

The 20th works for me. Sonic Run, Meet in Hightstown and then a run to the Sonic in Waretown. And we can meet along the way, if that works for everyone?

The route would be down 571 from Hightstown to Cassville and then cut over 528 to 539 and run down to Whitings and then Lacy Road to Forked River and then down 9 to the Sonic.

If that works for you, post-up and we will make it a "GO"

Somehow I got the idea in my mind that I heard he moved to Fla...my error!

There were a few of the "smaller" mods to my MINI that I wanted to work on and the parts all showed up early in the week that you had the run. I installed the new LED taillights and the clear 3rd stop light during the week and then spent Saturday & Sunday working on the new Aero Grill. The upper grill was a breeze, but the middle grill was quite time consuming. The bottom line was it all went well and I'm very happy with the result.

And as previously mentioned my wife and I are leaving for Florida next Saturday and will be gone for 3 weeks. My oldest granddaughter is getting married, so we're going down to assist my son and his wife with the preparations and then the "clean-up" afterwards.

I'll post pictures from "poolside" for those of you suffering through the cold weather of the North

And I'm not going to be able to make it either, as I'm sending this post from poolside in Cape Coral, Fla. When we arrived yesterday afternoon the temperature was up to 81F... It's 76F right now going up to a high of 79F later today...Whew..I'm working up a sweat just typing this post. I see that you guys are going to have a high of ONLY 62F today. I'll be thinking about you all later this afternoon when I have a cool Mai Tai in my hand

Ed, I have to be on the other side of the Pond this week, so driving the 1200 miles would not work for me. :( I am however going to be down in Florida in January for 2 weeks as i have a wedding to attend and need some downtime. I have not as of yet decided if i am flying or driving, that will wait till the last minute depending on the weather.
