Charlotte Area JCW installations

I'd like to hear feedback from Charlotte area owners who have had John Cooper Works kits installed on their MCS's by the nearby dealerships.

How was your experience, positive or negative, with Hendrick MINI, Flow MINI, or Century MINI?

I'm in the planning phase of getting the JCW kit for my 05 MCS. Another member had issues with his installation at Hendrick MINI (still unresolved) that has shaken my confidence in them. I've been less than impressed on a few occasions, too. Possibly, Hendrick MINI is too new to have installed enough kits?

Was your install done right? Was your labor rate 10 hours? What was your cost?

Highly Anticipated!

I have to say I am very impressed with the commitment I've received from Century MINI in Greenville. It is there that I am having my JCW kit installed Wednesday/Thursday. Brent has installed many kits, and is highly recommended by the list. Jim Pickett and Jimmy Bishop have been very reassuring that my MINI will be in the best hands. So much so, that I driving past the local dealership for the installation.

Clamps and all!

Century MINI has been VERY hospitable, and are nearly done with my JCW installation! Brent is the service technician installing the kit, and has a great amount of experience under his belt!

My MINI should be ready tomorrow, and I can hardly wait!

Century MINI, Way to Go!

I really have to applaud Century MINI for outstanding service and hospitality. Brent, my JCW kit installer, took time to discuss the process in progress when I stopped in mid-way through the install, and went with me to test drive the car upon completion when I returned to pick it up.

Jim Pickett ensured that I and my car were in good hands, and, along with Michael, really did more than expected to keep me from being inconvenienced during the 2 and a half-day install.

Jimmy Bishop promplty ordered the needed parts in advance, and his timing was perfect. He was very good to me, and Century MINI participates in the M2C2 discount program.

Best of all, Century MINI rewarded my trust and confidence in them, even forwarned that I am "particular" about my MINI. They were confident that their operations and standards were as high as mine, and would meet with my approval and scrutiny. They did.

(I call myself an 'educated consumer'--Jeff calls me an 'armed fanatic'. Brent just said I'm '**** about my car.')

Why should you be any different than the rest of us?
