Saturday May 8th

We will meet at the Wal Mart at the corner of Mount Holly Huntersville Road and Route 16 at 8:30 am. This is just off the 485 outer loop at Exit 16 Head North to the next traffic light ( Mount Holly Huntersvile Rd ) turn right then a left at the next light into the shopping center.

Look for Audrey ( see sig below if you haven't met her yet ).


We will leave at 9am and take a leisurely drive up to the park, approximately 2 1/2 hours. When we arrive we can have lunch then visit the park, cost into Grandfather Mountain is $15, One of the Tallest Peaks along the Blue Ridge Parkway there is a Mile High swinging bridge leading to the top of the Mountain along with several wildlife habitats. Bring a Camera and make sure to bring a jacket, this will be in the mountains and can get a bit chilly some days.

I should be able to go. Its my first weekend of summer break so this will be a great way to get the summer started!!! See y'all there.

I really want to do this but I am just unpacking from a week at the Dragon and leave the 9th for Arkansas Pigtrails Mini event. Put me down as iffy but I probably can't make it.

 

I'm gonna have to back out. I had some stuff come up and I can't make it. Hope y'all have a good time though.
