Spring 2009 Food Lion AutoFair at Lowe's Motor Speedway
Spring 2009 Food Lion AutoFair - At Lowe's Motor Speedway On Saturday April 4th.
M2C2 has again been invited to participate in the AutoFair car show at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday April 4 from 8:00am until 6:00pm.
We have been given space for 20 MINIs to be displayed. The AutoFair will be awarding 5 trophies to the MINIs in our club.
If you have never been to the AutoFair you are in for a treat. More than 150,000 people attend this event over a 4 day period. Please check this link for more information.

This is an honor for our club to be invited to attend this event. We need to fill all 20 spaces. You must be a club member to participate. Also note that all cars are expected to stay for the entire time. The people attending the show pay to enter while we have no entry fee. Please post here to be added to the list. Once the list is full we'll add names to the waiting list as there are always cancellations.
We need to be in place by 7:30 AM.
The plan is to meet at the Starlight Theater parking lot just off I-485 at Hwy 29 around 6:00 and caravan the last couple of miles by about 6:30 as we need to be in place by 7:30. Entrance passes and car tags will be handed out at the theater.
Be sure to bring chairs, drinks, munchies and whatever cleaning gear you think you may need for last minute polishing to make him/her more beautifuler.

I hope to be back from Las Vegas in time, so count me in. We all going to bring food and snacks again? I bought some real good sugarless chocolate but it will probably be gone before then. I use to never like chocolate til they said I couldn't eat it< Whats up with that???????

I would love it if John would bring my MINI. I would love it more if I actually got to come and hang with John and the MINI crowd..... It has been way too long. If I possibly can get by tomorrow, I will [I will also warn you all to bring disinfectant -- I think I have TB????]. I am praying to get well before Helen and I am still trying to beg to go to Vegas. My partners have been very very slow to commit.

If your a two MINI family bring them both. If we fill up thats o.k. as everyone has been alerted to the time and date and sign up. we have never had fewer than 17 cars and we need them to keep our spot. There alot of clubs that come out Sunday that would love to replace our Mini's. Some have been on the standby list for 5 or more years.

If anybody wants to drive my S or the Clubman, I would very much appreciate it. I may be able to stop by during the day, depending upon call, but I just won't be able to stay the day or get there to set up.

Lil Blue Coop/Mini Rose, please do just let them know so they can get you on the list. Ben bring one of your buds down with you and let him drive yours and you take one for Art. That will work.
