"SPG" is back together and looking good as new! We picked it up Friday from Import Paint and Body in Charlotte, thanx for the recommendation. They did a great job.

 

Ok, then. I'm officially done whining about my door ding! Thanks for the update, though, as I'm taking Ramona to Loren at Import tomorrow and it's good to know you were pleased.

Poor deer..... you can always fix a car....

 

Driving into New Mexico while coming back from Colorado, I had a nature encounter outside of Raton. Early dusk, a young deer (fawn?) jumped out in front of us from the right side of the road. I braked fairly hard and so did the deer. The deer then momentarily stopped and then changed direction, forcing me into a little swerve. It felt like a scene out of a bullfight. After one more swerve both the young animal and we escaped unharmed.

If we had been in the big tree SUV, I doubt i would have even seen the little guy until it was too late.

Wife and child slept through it all. I guess now I can talk about the one that got away.

 

Sounds like grounds for a butt whoopin'.... or an excuse to buy a second computer.

 

Glad you had it fixed and happy withit. I haven't found anyone at Loren's that wasn't happy with there work. Did you get to see his hot MINI. It Car Show material!!!! I got alot of my ideas from his and had him do mine. Hope you didn't forget to get your club discount?

I'm going to go back to the thread I started about my little door ding and post pictures in a minute. I just left Import Paint & Body, where Loren quoted me $729 . I have no choice but to use him, I think, since I want it done right, but .

I checked all the club lists I have, Luke, and didn't see anything about Import. What is our club discount there?

Ditto. Do you need a hunting license? Probably at least the dealer would be a good idea for warranty concerns.
