tweedbean’s F54 Clubman Cooper S Project
Meet the new addition to our family, replacing my trusty F56! I'll dive into the details in my YouTube video now live, but let's just say the kids are getting bigger and I needed something with a bit more space. Fingers crossed it's just minor front end damage and nothing more sinister. It’s a great base to modify from once repaired and it already has some JCW upgrades like an interior and big brakes. It’s my first experience of purchasing from Copart so will also share my experience of that in a future video.
It’s a 2016 Cooper S, exactly same engine that’s was in my F56
50k miles on clock
Categorised due to accident damage
JCW interior with heated front seats
JCW brakes
JCW 18” wheel
Smaller nav screen
Lights packages on interior
Melting Silver bodywork
Already learnt these are based on the Countryman chassis and not the hatchback so these are longer and wider
Hopefully damage is restricted to cosmetic and I can start modifying it with everything that will fit from my F56 and more

Reviving My Mini Clubman, post the tear down I got on with purchasing parts to get it sorted.
Headlight repair tabs, a new bonnet, headlight bracket, a chrome headlight ring and an a panel all sourced, mostly new as used Clubman parts are rare, especially for a Cooper S. That got it all ready for its MOT which it failed due to a damaged tyre from the accident, more detail in the video below. I also provide a breakdown of what It REALLY Cost to Get It Back on the Road:

Just gone live over on youtube.com/tweedbean my transformation video, I spend 5 days upgrading my F54 with a load of mods ready for the Pistonheads Sunday Service. In certainly didn’t going to plan and I had some disasters along the way, but I share all that with you, no rose tinted glasses here
Please check it out over the weekend. It covers the highs and lows of modifying a Mini. Peaks of hearing the exhaust for the first time and lows of snapping a bolt in the chassis
