Resistor load for led lghts

Ok, I know I am green on posting here, but here I go...change bulbs to led, got canbus adapter for front headlights but wanting to buy resistors to finish up fog lights, parking rear parking lights, brake lights. Don't want to fry any green tomatoes and buy the wrong resistor. Also out of this subject, is bimmercode good app to buy and use to load codes into 2012 countryman? Thanks everyone, even the hagglers

To find resistance required, solve the following equation: Resistance = (Volts)^2 / (bulb wattage)

So, for front turn signal, Resistance = (12)^2 / (21w) => ~6 ohms
For front H8 fog light, Resistance = (12)^2 / (35w) => ~4 ohms

you don't need the load resistors for the parking lights, fog lights, or the brake lights......unless your turn signal and brake light are the same bulb

I get the Disco flash in the fog lights which are using led h8 and I have the canbus adapter for led h13 headlights. Parking lights are having the flickering too
