New to me (additional) 2006 MINI Cooper S - Changes and Upgrades
So I have mentioned it here on NAM a couple times, but I bought my another 2006 MCS, this one is a Manual with the factory LSD. I got it with some mods at what I consider an extremely good price, so I am really happy.
Master Plan:
Link ECU G+ MINI+ Standalone ECU w/ the LINK ECU CAN based Lambda Sensor
Boost Gauge in Alta Pod to the right of the main gauge
ProClip iPhone Holder on the right down tube
GTT Stealth Cold Air Intake
MediaBridge iPhone radio Interface
Factory 17" Wheels
Install Factory Air Diverter
Install Factory Air Guide back in the hood
Install Factory intake tube between the air filter and the intake
Install factory rear seats and package shelf
Install Custom made Stainless Shift **** (wife got this for me for a previous MINI, that was sold) [DONE]
Later On - Factory JCW exhaust (the Miltek on it is pretty rusted.
Being removed from the car:
So the rear seats, package shelf, factory diverter, intake tube and air guide are on the way from a fellow NAM/Fb group member. I hunter down some of the other parts and I will clean the interior and install the Gauge, Phone Holder and Media Bridge tomorrow.
So tomorrow:
I will post a couple of photos, after the gauge and phone setup are installed (cause everyone likes photos). The goal is not to have the faster MINI out there but to create a really fun driver, with a couple of race car like functions that add to the excitement. Of course I want it totally stealth / factory looking.

So I got the Boost Gauge in and the Phone Mount / MediaBridge. Here is a photo you can see the Shift **** also.
I vacuumed the car and wiped the interior down with some Armour-all - it was pretty dry and dusty. Its looks like no big deal but it really did take HOURS. I now remember why I generally pay people to do the work for me!
