So what is 0-62 anyway?

We've all seen that specification, which is a European spec, of 0-62mph of 8.5 seconds. About as fast as a bus on a good day when talking track.

What it equates to in our standard 0-60 is just under 8 seconds (maybe)...still seems slow by what us 'Pioneers' feel in the seat of our pants. Granted BMW detuned the MINI E when under 15mph but it does get going quickly still.

Good news fans, Edmunds just did an official test and guess what...7.7 seconds....not bad. That 0-60 video is here MINI E 0-60
