Which battery powers the radio/lights/AC?

Which battery powers the radio/lights/AC?
Does anyone know which battery powers the radio, lights, and AC? Is it the batteries in the back seat that power the motor hence lowering the milage you can get on one charge, or is the 12 volt battery under the hood? Then part two of the question is what recharges the 12 volt battery so is it a wash anyways?
