Again the Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas has been invited to participate this year. Saturday June 2 Fun Rally. Featuring NASCAR Race Shops, Museums and Historical Markers. You must be registered for show to participate. Meet at 1230 pm exit 18 Harris Blvd at mall parking lot. The Car Show will be held 3rd June on the beautiful grounds of the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte. Last year we had over 30 Minis and over 20 from our club and we took 3 of top 5 spots. We need to have at least 10 signed up so we can put up a 14x14 tent. Go to www.carolinahealeys.com and BCDS left side and download registration form. If you plan on going please post so we can keep count as to whether we get a tent. The MG will

I'm in. Jason what mods did you do at the Dragon?

 

Well, I was not too thick on the wallet, but I did do a stubby antenna, a chrome intercooler scoop, and a JCW intercooler cover. I also got blue S's to replace my red ones on sides and rear. That was it. Like I said, it was alot for us to just go this year, but next year....Totally different story. I have a ALTA intake from Steve @Hendricks coming, and am looking at an exhaust....New job, new pay, newer ideas for the MINI compliments of the Dragon....
On a side note, I may have to back out of the show on account of the $30 entry fee, although I will play it by ear...

I wil think about itl, but $20 is $20, and after all I spent going to the Dragon, getting my new tail lights, cold air intake, and other stuff, it will be tight. I will let you know, and see ya Tuesday!

Yes, ANNA you can pick them up there, Its $30.00 for Show and Rally or just 20 for the Car show. If you get it postmarked and mailed by 15th it includes free T-Shirt, which normally sells for 15 bucks, get them in mail by tuesday and save some money! Luke

How many MINI's do we have going on Sunday to the car show? Is there a certain time that we need to be there set up?

The rally drivers meeting will be held at 12:30 on saturday june 2, at the Comfort Suites parking lot at exit 18 (harris Blvd) off I-77. The Car Show is Sunday June 3rd on the grounds of the Mint Museum of Art. The show begins at 9AM and voting ends at 1PM Awards presented after that. Hope that clears it all up. See you there. Art bring your 10x10 tent?

Ooo.. I just found this thread, this club, this car show .. I'm so happy !! I'm going to try and come to the show on Sunday just to see all the MINIs
