Anyone know what ever happened with Henry from Indianapolis who crashed his Cooper S on 28 last year at MOTD upon arriving at the Dragon? Does he still have a MINI?

 

You can probably find out from Waylen and Tom & Cheryl (MINItencan). I hope he got another MINI and can join us again.

The amazing thing is that Henry was not injured.

 

Henry checks in at our club website occasionally. As far as I know he is in Taiwan and MINIless but anything can change at a moments notice with him. I PM'd him and hopefully he will answer for himself.

 

The rest of the front bumper is on display on the Deal's Gap Tree of Shame for those that want to leave memorial tributes. . . .

But let's not leave another piece of MINI bodywork on that tree this year, ok?

 

Waylen bought the remains of his car and has pretty much parted the remaining good stuff out. I saw it about 2 weeks ago and still cannot get over how Henry survived...still looks pretty much like the above pics. He has been back to IN recently to see his old friends, from what I hear. Must be nice to have the jack to be able to travel from so far away, so often.

Hey guys, This is Henry. Sorry for the late replying. I am doing fine in Taipei, Taiwan now. I didn't buy any car after the accident at the Dragon. I really want to get another brand new 2007 MINI Cooper S. However, the car sells double the U.S. price in Taiwan. I am not wealth enough to get one yet. Maybe in the future. I hope you all had fun at the Dragon this year.

There's a Mini dealer in Guam. You could purchase there, and then have it shipped to Taiwan. Cheaper than twice the price.
