Satellite radio question again

I can't wait for the satallite radio upggrade and it seems a bit high as I only want the satallite. My Honda has a sports mate that is mounted below the radio and AC in an area with extra room, you know where you through change, junk, etc. Where does a ratio like this or something similar go in the R56. Does anyone have a picture. Someone must have added a radio from Best Buy, etc, to their R56 for satallite. Please Help. I have to have my Howard Stern replays while sitting on the 91 Freeway in the afternoon for two hours.

Thanks again as always. BTW, I think I have wore my wife down and may be close to ordering. Thanks as always.

I have the new Starmate fitted in the cubby area. Fits perfect. I'll try to take a pic tomorrow.

running an XM sportscaster in my little cubby area below the switches. mount up pretty nice. beware though, the sportscaster does not have an EQ function and the audio sounds a bit flat on some stations.

Yup, forgot to mention the cubby insert - it's ideal for a cozy fit.

what bracket did you use - any drilling? How much wire exposure is there on the aentenna run and why not hardwire the power versus the cig outlet?

All questions I ask myself as I make this decision.

I did not use a bracket. It fits snug with the auto kit and cubby insert. The aux plug causes a nice little backstop. I don't have any exposure on the antenna, was able to run it under the rubber molding. When I get around to it I will hardwire. I have some good pics I'll show tomorrow.

Did you do any drilling? How does the unit stay up?

Thanks

No drilling. It just fits really well and as stated earlier it rests against the aux input. I have angled it up and it just fits perfect with the cubby insert.

I ran the antenna in that rubber gromit and under the roof panel to the molding. The only part of the antenna you can see is the antenna.
