Dark enough for a ticket in Texas.

Looks nice! But I can live without a ticket.

I have legal signed permision, and the DMV has me registered, so when a cop behind me, sees my tint, is bored, and runs my plate, it will pop up that is LEGAL

That's a great color combo and sure to look even better with the OZ wheels.

How did you manage that? Sensitive Eyes?

Car looks awesome, can't wait to see it with some wheels.

Makes me want to stab my eye with a fork.

Well maybe later on.

I think 35% is legal in my area. No 5% except for SUVs and trucks.

You look great, don't risk driving out of state though.

Nice license plates too!

Thank you, thank you....ill make sure not to drive it to HI haha. Thanks about the plate...in delaware..its sad...but its a big deal. 86,999 and below can have these special black license plates that were what the orginal DE license plates looked like. Black, DEL and then a white number on it. 2 digitis, then a diamond, then the others. Single digit tags go for 400,000~ dollars. Sad, yes, but are hardley ever sold beacuse they just get passed through the duPont family haha.

nice! omg, you mean I can get this tint legal if i get a sign doctors note. Thats awesome! I don't wear glasses but I did go in for sensitive eyes recently. I get headaches and eyestrains from being on the computer all day, then its worst when i'm in the sun.

this is how you make it legal,
Dont know what CA laws are but yes, there should be away. In DE what happened was, i got my windows tinted, then the tint shop gave me a medical waver, then my doctor signed it, then i went to the dmv and they put it in their system, so if a cop ever is behind me and runs my tags, it'll say its legal

now the illegal way is..A LOT of people just get them tinted, hope they dont get pulled over, and then the day of their vehical inspection they go to the shop to remove it and then put it back on later that day.

You have some nice cops where you live. I have been pulled over many times in my MINI. I get tickets for a tail light being out, speeding (which was later revoked in court), a rolling stop (which wasn't rolling), etc. Here its a pull over first, figure out if they deserve it later.

Maybe I am just a young kid that happens to get pulled over?

Anyways, good luck, I sure hope you don't get hassled by the cops since you do have a real reason to have the tint.

Up here in Ontario, you can tint your windows, but the front doors, here is the qualitative property... the officer approaching must be able to see in and distinguish people" Generally accepted is 35%, the rear windows can be anything you like.. so I have 35% on the front, and 5% on the rear... Personally I think there should be a quantitative value there..

Looks great! I'm getting 20% on the back, 35% on the front on Wednesday. Normally I would just get 20% on front and rear and leave it until I get pulled over for it... but I'm starting nursing school in September and wont have the money to pay the ticket and get it fixed without a job. Looks great though.

i wish it was legal to get the back windows 5% here, don't see why suvs and trucks can get 5% on back but hatchbacks can't. i don't want the front 5% but would love to have the back three 5%. by the way i love the way your mini looks.

35% for Washington according to http://www.tintlaws.com/laws/SC/.
My friend was wrong after all. He said it changed to 25% or something.
