Bridgestone RE01R 205/55/16 VS 225/50/16?

Hi I had just order a set of Bridgestone 205/55/16 tires since some people said my lowed Mini will have problem with the size of 225/50/16.... Is it true? What do you all think? Any input will be appreciate.

I think you have a good chance of rubbing with the 205/55/16. That's what I was told by many people when I was thinking about going that route. It's been discussed here on NAM, so I suggest doing a search in this forum.

Oh no, which means I can't get the RE01R tire... And other than that, the next choice I can chose it Goodyear F1 GSD3? Since I can get a 205/50/16 size of it.

I know MY car would rub in the back with a 205/55/16. I have 205/50/16's and with H-sports springs they have very little room in back.

i have the 205/45R16 goodyears, while i am on stocks suspension, the wheel gap is pretty silly now, .6" smaller sidewall than the stockers should help with fitting it under your suspension

Thanks for the information! That is what I found too, fortunately the RE01R has the size of 205/45/16, I will change my order now!

Thanks
