Seat Belt Holder

Has anyone tried this seat belt holder?
Because I am shorter (a little stout, too) the seat belt rubs my neck nearly raw. I'm wondering if anyone has added this and found it works to position the belt better.

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I'm interested in this item because I find it difficult to reach back and grab the seatbelt in my R56. It hides behind the seat and I have to squeeze my hand between the seat and the door to get at it. So, I'd be interested to know if NAMers feel it's worth getting this for my reason as well as WinneMini's. How much does it cost?

Makes it easier to put on but not more comfortable.

Raise your seat. This might do the trick in terms of comfort.

I'm at the highest already. I guess I'm looking at one of those covers for the belt so it won't be quite so abrasive.

Seat Belt Holder

I bought these not long after I took delivery. I wanted them because the seat belt kept getting stuck in the door. They not only solved that problem but make the seat belt much easier to grab when trying to put it on. Seems like the belt is also coming across my body better.

Anybody know if the seatbelt holders are all the same? I saw them at Moss for $39.95 (I think). I don't want them if the break easily.

I was having trouble with the belt getting stuck until I found the little plastic slide that holds the buckle up near the top when it exits from the pillar. Ever since I found that I have no trouble reaching the belt or it getting stuck. This won't help with the abrasion problem however.

nope

I found these items to be a waste of money. Unless handled DELICATELY, they fly apart at the hinge point very easily. My passengers do this 100% of the time, and we're not talking kid passengers here.

cheaper

Nothing against MiniMania, but there are cheaper sources out there. Look around.

+++++. I found its easier just to pull the seatbelt over the side bolster when I get out, so it's right there next time I get in. I got a clip on thing from J.C. Whitless for $4 that keeps the belt off my neck.

SEATBELT ADJUSTER

I bought a pair of the clip thingies at WalMart tonight. They're called Seatbelt Adjuster...Says: STOP SEATBELT FROM RUBBING AGAINST YOUR NECK! Auto Section (naturally), on a pegboard card. $2.00.

OH CRAP! I wish I had asked about these before I bought a pair - they are crap! The hinged arm will pop apart and fly some place inside the cabin.

Glad I took a look here for comments, as well as on Mini2, before making any decision on buying these. If you want to gamble anyway though it seems like OUTMOTORING has them for $36.75, or $13.20 less than Mini Mania.

Well, this week I am reclining my seat back, (while in my seat) to reach the belt. Not too bad!
