If so I'm with you. I'm told by the ask mini rep that I'm scheduled for completion on the 24th.

 

Possibly if all goes well I was told by ASK-MINI that I start production next week. There wasn't a week 17 thread so I started one.

 

I just found out that I'm in week 17. I ordered on March 24th and I was initially told that my MC should be here at the beginning of May....I think it's going to be more like the end of May. Any one have any clue as to when about this production week will be shipped?

 

I am in this group as well. - Just called Ask-MINI and they told me that the car was in the body shop with a completion date of April 25. See you on the cruise!

 

My MINI started production Saturday at 7:04AM. Should be completed by the end of the week.

 

My MINI is now in the body shop. Moving along quite nicely.

 

Mine is out waiting to be shipped to the exit port :impatient . Not so many posts for week 17 - wondering if it was a slow production week

Sure! My MCS is scheduled to complete next monday, but I'm sticking with week 17 as it's being produced this week.

 

It's in the paint shop now, getting it's beautiful coat of lightning blue.

I guess I'm the only one that's getting built this week.

 

Our car is scheduled for completion today (4.26) or latest tomorrow. Does that mean we're week 17? They said it would go to the ship Monday (4.30) or Tuesday.

Are all week 17 production Minis going on the same ship?

 

After entering my VIN in the WW tracking system, it looks like my MINI is cruising on the good ship COURAGE bound for New York. Based on their WEB site COURAGE leaves South Hampton on 4-28 and arrives in NY on May 7th

Looks like there will be 115 mini's (so far) cruising across the pond together - hopefully it will be "smooth" sailing for them.

My car is on the Courage as well, it arrived at port yesterday!

 

Nope link still displays an error page. That's ok I'll go back and navigate from the home page.

Just found out our car is at the dock right now. The Ask Mini rep said the car will sit there for a week waiting for a boat because it has to go through final inspection. Is that correct? I thought it was on a boat within days of arriving.

 

I'm in assembly now and should be shipped to the port tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a ride on the TORONTO to NY which leaves on Tuesday. Otherwise I'll have to wait a week for INTEGRITY. I don't think it's possible to get on COURAGE which leaves tomorrow.

 

How do you guys find out about which ship is going when?

After using the booking number query on the WW site, there are 195 MINIS (so far) leaving on Courage.

Click "Ship along side" and you will see Courage on the list - scheduled to leave tomorrow 3pm (GMT)/10 am EST.

They even have a live WEBcam of the port and Live Radar of the ships in the port. I am not sure you will see Courage though.

Every since I found out the ship's name was Courage, all I kept picturing was this guy - remember him?


Maybe I'll consider naming my MINI Courage - not sure yet.

 

Awesome! My MINI has finished production and is being shipped to the port. My VIN isn't showing up on W&W's site yet so I'll keep trying all night. I hope I can make the COURAGE with you guys.

you know what i just realized...its great we get to see the ships but there are webcams everywhere because of the terrorist thing and its for britain to spy on people...big brother in britain is helping us see our ship...

Do all the Mini's leave out of Southampton? I'm trying to figure out which ship we'll be on.

 

I see that those dock workers were working all night to load up, now 254 MINIs, mine was loaded at 10:31 (GMT) - I need to stop looking - it's like waiting for a tea pot to boil :impatient.

It will show you the "Vessel" your booked on.

I know the page always comes up as an error, refreshing a couple times usually gets it but if you still have trouble you can go to the main site
