Has anyone had a sport Link Installed on their MINI? If so who did it, and how many hours of labor was it. Did they do a good job? Thanks

 

I had mine done by the dealer when I ordered it. It looks fine to me.

 

Mine was done by Knauz. I have no idea how long it took since they did it before I picked up the car and also did it in conjuction with installing the Aero Kit. I've been happy with all of the work that they've done on my cars over the years.

 

I know that if you have an aero kit installed its slightly more, but I think the dealer rate is 3.5 hours or 4, pending on the aero kit.

 

We installed mine here at the shop.

Takes around 4 hours with wirring.

 

Wiring??

 

We installed the Wirring harness for the trailer lights.

 

I see now.

 

I did it with my brother, and it took around 4-5 hours...but we also had limited MINI install experience. Had a couple oops moments , but nothing serious. Just had to replace some of those plastic tree things that attach the plastic trim on the wheel wells.

The instructions I found somewhere around here were good enough. Just had the laptop in the garage and took our time.
