¿Pepper white with white roof is a non popular selection in the R56?

Hello, I noted that is difficult to find pictures of Pepper white R56 with white roof, I think is the same with Chili red and Red roof. There is something wrong with this combinations? I have looked in the streets and in the forums but found only a few of these cars.
Do you like this combo? What do you think about?

Thank you for your comments.

I think I like mine (p/u'd at dealer 4/7/07) a lot. Yep, it's the least popular combo. That, the fact that imo it looks real straightforward (wolf in sheep's clothing) and historically MKI's were offered in a similar all white setup are the reasons I chose it. Oh yeah, it's good in hot weather, and the interior is totally blacked out... headliner, carbon black leatherette etc (looks great against the brushed alloy dash and chromeline accents). See my gallery for pics. Also, another poster made the point: You cannot get a pepper white car with the optional WHITE top, you just order it in ALL OVER pepper white. Looks fine by me. Oh yeah, when you see the gallery, my point will be made about driving a "plain jane" PW mini...if I want the LOOK AT ME factor, I drive the Grinnall Scorpion. You're NEVER ALONE with a Grinnall Scorpion!

You can't get pepper white with a "white" roof. Only black or body color (which is a different shade of white).

oh! I´m sorry, I was trying to say Pepper white with Pepper white roof. Not plain white.
I like very much the pepper white with black roof, however the first mini that I saw years ago was pepper white with pepper white, since then I like very much this combo.

Thank you.

If you like it, that is all that matters. Personally, I think that combination screams for a great roof graphic, or racing stripe. I think black roofs look good on light colored MINI's, but it seems rather impractical unless you live in a sunless climate. I ordered all Pure Silver, but plan to put a dark silver racing stripe on at least the bonnet. I may go with some other graphics as well.

I have a PW PW '06 JCW and love it. Check out my Gallery if you want to see. Obviously not an R56 but my dealer has had one and it looked great...

That's my plan, too... if I get to thinking it's too plain and boring...something special from mightystripes.com to make it stand out. I was very much torn about going with a black roof, and skipped it for the climate issues you mention. Then again, it does have air conditioning. If you drive it and you like it...that's what counts. They're all good.

With white roof you can't get any bonnet stripes from the factory. Maybe that's why. Black stripes remind me of a hearse. A black car with white stripes also remind me of a hearse.

I just added one quick picture to my gallary of my wife's new PW/PW R-56. I think its quite striking, actually. It doesn't seem as tall as other R-56's for some reason.

Thank you for all your comments, I saw the gallerys from surfblue, paynemdmini and DChamp, this is the combo that I like. Well I like it in Chili Red with Chili Red also.

Thank You.

I just seen this one on Craigslist in Phoenix the other day. And have to admit, it does look good with the sunroof.

But, as my signature shows, I am a very big fan of the PW/B. My new 07 should be here around the end of May!

This is because it will look like a bad paint problem.

That's honestly the combination I would have loved to have but I settled (not that I'm not happy with it) for PW with black roof.

I've seen a few PW/PW Minis roaming around where I live (no R56's just yet) but it's really really slick and pretty that way.

I really like the PW/PW ,and that is what I ordered. (though looking at the PW with black roofs on this site has me second guessing myself ). I mainly wanted one color is case I decide to put some wide racing stripes on it. I like the stripes to go from the bottom of the front airdam, over the roof, right down to the bottom of the back bumper. This will give the effect of making the car look even wider then it is. We'll see after it gets here(at the VDC as of yesterday ).

I have an 06 PW/PW and I think she's beautiful BUT I get that a lot of the fun with a MINI is having different colored body/roof. I think that other than black, there are not a lot of MINIs that have the same color body and roof.
