Hey,

Im looking at getting a mini cooper sometime about April of next year. I love the look of the car both inside and out but i've never driven one. I drive a Citroen Saxo 1.1 at the moment and want a car with more speed so I was wondering what you think of it.

My mini will be black with white roof and mirrors and white 16" alloys. Also I want to get full leather beige interior. Has anyone got this ? What does it wear like ? Does anyone have any pics of a mini like this ?

Thanks

I assume from the car you drive that you are from europe. The Mini Cooper has a 1.6 liter engine with 115 HP. It is very lightweight and has excellent gear ratios, so the car is pretty peppy and agile. It gets very good gas mileage too.

If you want more serious performance the Mini S is great too, and if you want more basic transportation there´s also the Mini One and D (I can´t tell you about their performance though)

Check out the Member Mini´s section, there are several black /white coopers, though I haven´t seen one with a beige interior. I´ve seen British Racing Green Coopers with beige interiors (Cordoba beige is the name? anyone?) and look quite different from the normal black or red interiors.

With a black Cooper I would definitely consider the bonnet stripes.
