Hello everyone! I just bought a brand new Mini and would love to start hanging out with other Mini owners. When do you meet and go on runs? Do you have a schedule? Can I get on your mailing list (columbus@adamlj.com)? Maybe too many questions? :-) I am in Sparks, but have no problem being in my Mini a little longer to make it up to Tahoe.

Sierra Nevada Minis is centered in your area with members in the Tahoe and Reno areas and they have monthly runs (weather permitting). Some SNMC members will surely to post on this thread when they see it.

You are also welcome to join us on any of our runs, although they may be a little far for you. We do have two upcoming runs you may be interested in... Shasta in June and a Motherlode Tour in August.

 

Welcome, been very busy. We are doing a Run this Sunday the 15th. Starting at the North Albertson's in Carson City at 10:30. Very Cool! I am glad that this is a active group . I came to the Mini from a Chevy Blazer. Going to the Mini has been a very exciting change. My 2007 Mini is the Dark Silver with a black top. I have the Premium, Sport and Cold Weather Packages. I have the upgraded "Hi-Fi" 10 speaker sound system, and some sweet lookin WebSpoke Wheels. The car is really high on the "Smiles per mile" meter. I am hoping to get a few pictures soon.

While searching for clubs I did come across the RedwoodEmpire group and was sad that I missed out on the light house run, that looked like it was a blast. I would love to go on extended runs with ya Glen!

I will get in contact with Lisa for the weekend run. I am looking forward to it.

Hello, everyone. It seems a Mini brings good opportunities with it, but now I making time to run with big dogs (or the ferocious little dogs, as the case may be). My name is Shea & I have had my little Pepper White Mini for about 1.5 years. It doesn't have a beefy sound system or cool stripes, but I adore it just the same. My husband's birthday & requisite party are this Saturday, but if we are not too tired (read: hungover ), we might come on the Sunday run. If that's okay. I look forward to meeting you all. And one question...who changes your oil? I would like to know who is reputable around town. Thanks.

welcome two newbys to snmc. I look forward to meeting the dark silver and the pepper white this sunday. We meet at north Albertson's in Carson City. 10:30 am.The only change about our run is stopping for lunch at Tahoe House Bakery instead of Rosie's but I took the drive last tuesday and it was beautiful. Hope the roads are clear. I will call ahead. The owner of the bakery is also a mini convertable owner! Small world!!! I now send out 32 e-mailed newsletters. We are growing in leaps and bounds. My dear husband changed my oil so I am ALLOWING him to drive MY mini this sunday. It is not so complicated but get the oil filter from mini or bauvauto and use a good synthetic oil. Glenn goes to Auburn CA . and also check Bill Peirce to see if they can change the oil. The "how to " guide is on line. Ask other club members too. See ya sunday, Lisa

 

As usual the weather may play havoc this weekend. My desktop says Snow Sat. and the AM Sunday. Will know more by Saturday Night. Please check back before going to bed and again on Sunday morning. Hey!!!!!! I saw wubwub on McCarren the other day at around 5:30pm. I go to school in Sparks mon-thurs. I love your mini! Nice and clean. And I would love to see you Renomojo on a run soon. Your mini still running good? Got any snow lately? I saw you on Mt.Rose hyw a while back. The run June 2 out to Auburn CA will be the whole day but WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!! Plan ahead to get the day off and join us all for some fun minis and bbq and a nice ride home via hyw49. Details soon. Will meet in Reno June 2 am. Motor ON, Rainbow Blue PS The run around the lake April 15 started out snowy but got great the rest of the day. A little chilly but we met a new mini Adam has a 2007,cool silver, what a ride!!!! We will go to Truckee in May. Watch for May newsletter.

 

Hopefully I'll have weekends off soon. I would love to join you guys in Auburn. I need to get a pulley and an air intake so I can go FASTER! I'll be in touch.
